Lucky Leprechaun 5K & 10K
at Nathan Benderson Park
The 2021 Lucky Leprechaun 5K and 10K will be a socially distanced in-person event held on March 13, 2021 at 7:00AM at Nathan Benderson Park. The 5K waves will start and 7AM and the 10K waves will start at 7:30AM.
All participants will receive a race shirt, bib, and medal. We will be starting the race in groups of 50 participants every 5 minutes to provide safe distancing.
Packet pickup dates will be available from 3PM - 7PM at the Fit2Run UTC location on Friday 3/12. Packet mailing will be available for all participants who opt for packet mailing during the checkout process. There will be no onsite race day packet pickup due to Covid-19 restrictions. Awards will be available for pickup at the Fit2Run UTC store location following the event.

Holiday Challenge
The Lucky Leprechaun 5K is the first race in the 2021 Holiday Challenge, hosted by Fit2Run and Nathan Benderson Park.
3 races, for 3 different holidays, with 3 different courses, but one heck of a good time! The Holiday Challenge includes the Lucky Leprechaun 5K, Fireworks 4 Miler and the Florida Turkey Trot. Participate in each event and have a great time, plus earn a special medal for completing all 3 races.
You can register for the series or each race individually. Not sure if you can make one of the races? You can always sign up for the Virtual Race! What's a virtual race? If you can't make one (or more) of the challenge events, you can still qualify for the Holiday Challenge by completing the virtual race for the one you have to miss! You register for the virtual race, we send you a race packet and you are still in for the Challenge!
Cancellation Policy
We value runner safety. In the event of severe weather or other hazardous conditions, the director(s) reserve the right to cancel the race for the safety of its participants. Registrations cancelled due to public safety concerns will not be refunded, but instead used to cover event costs, with the balance being treated as a charitable donation to the event beneficiary.
Conditions that may result in event cancellation include (but are not limited to): lightning, high winds, flooding, fires, and other acts of God.
