Gather the whole crew and put on your own Stay Out of the Sun Run!
Each participant will receive an At Home Race Kit with a medal, great logo'd swag, plus offers & treats from our sponsors. You'll even get a snack sized bag of Carroll's Corn -- because no SOS Run is complete without that tasty treat!
Once you receive your At Home Race Kit, pick a day to put on your own event at home. Blow up the balloons to make your own "finish line," and run or walk a 5K or 10K.
Rochester residents will get the opportunity to run a specially marked course (TBD) for at least a few days around our original race date, May 14th.
Fundraising is still an important part of this event, so just like in previous years, we invite you to create or join a team, and compete to see which team can raise the most funds for melanoma research, education and awareness through the Mayo Clinic Cancer Center.
We hope you'll get in the spirit and join the race virtually this year by listening to the Spotify playlist we will curate to get you pumped for race day, posting photos of your finish lines and medals, and encouraging others as they complete their goal distance.
Most importantly, don't forget to wear sunscreen and complete your event outside of the peak sun exposure times of 10am-4pm!

When you choose the Deluxe package with the Survivor/Remembrance Profile, you will be invited to submit a profile to be featured on our website and social media. Honor a friend who survived melanoma or remember a loved one. You can share up to two photos and a story of up to 350 words. If you don't have a profile to share or don't want to share one, you can still choose the Deluxe package and a $20 donation will be made to the SOS Foundation in your name.
IMPORTANT: At home race kits will continue shipping through the end of May. However, you will not receive a snack sized popcorn treat from Carroll's Corn in your swag bag.
