Kick It Event Management and the Sock It To Me Santa 5k has a NO REFUND policy. Runners are able to add on Reg Shield to allow themselves a full refund in case of weather or illness.

By indicating your acceptance to PARTICIPANT, you understand, agree, warrant and covenant as follows:

If we need to reschedule the race due to weather the snow date is 12/18/21.

In consideration of the foregoing, I for myself, my executors, administrators and assignees, do hereby release and discharge the Kick It Ventures LLC, City of Asheville, Asheville High School, Asheville Middle School, Asheville High School Band Boosters, event volunteers, sponsors and supporters for all claims and damages, demands, actions and whatever in any manner arising out of my participation in the "Sock It To Me Santa 5k". I attest and verify that I have full knowledge of risk involved in this event and I and/or the people I am registering for, are physically fit and trained to participate in this event.

I also agree that I will not transfer race materials (including, but not limited to, bibs and timing chips) to another participant or run in their place without signing a waiver and officially notifying the race organization. Agreement to substitution requests lies solely with the race organizers. Unauthorized transfers will be disqualified from timing and awards. I release the use of any photographs using my image at the event for use in promotion of future events.
