We will be monitoring restrictions and guidelines and make Camp requirements, accordingly. At the very minimum, we will abide by health department/city/county regulations and guidelines, as well as what the CDC recommends for group gatherings and youth sports.
Camp WIN is designed to IGNITE the lives of young girls throughout the Kansas City area by introducing them to a variety of sports and fitness activities over four days, as well as WIN for KC’s owned and developed curriculum, LIVE ACTIVE. Through the activities and daily lessons, campers walk away with life skills that can translate both on and off the field. Campers learn about Effort, Believe, Resiliency and Teamwork as they work through their lessons and push themselves to learn new sports and try new skills.
High school girls serve as team captains, middle school girls as junior captains and instructors come from local universities, colleges, high schools and other area organizations.
WIN for KC offers a fun, safe and encouraging environment for the girls ages 6-12 to explore and learn these different activities. Campers are split into groups, keeping 6-8 year-olds together and 9-12 year-olds together.
Each day of camp will consist of four (4) different sport and fitness activities, a speaker, a LIVE ACTIVE lesson and activity, lunch, and two snack time periods.
