My Story…
Hi! My name is Michelle and I’ve been living with migraine for 17 years. I’ve set my fundraising goal at $170 to raise $10 for each year that I’ve spent living with migraine. I’m a patient advocate, a writer, a speaker, a Poet, and a dog mom. I was also a preschool teacher and childcare provider for many years. Fundraising for Miles for Migraine Boston is important to me because all donations made to this event will be donated to the Harvard/Brigham & Women’s Faulkner headache clinic. The funds will support their headache fellowship program and local migraine research. My brilliant headache specialist works there and so do many other fantastic providers that I have come to know through my advocacy work. In addition to raising money and awareness, Miles for Migraine also creates and strengthens connections within the community, letting people who live with migraine know that they are not alone. I hope that you will attend the Boston event in person or participate virtually (like me!)
