Love is Love 5k Run/Walk

Here are the FINAL FYI’s for Love is Love 5k Run/Walk

-Race is held at Bluhm County Park 3855 S 1100 W, Westville, IN 46391. We will have race day sign ups beginning at 7:00 am. Race day fees are $30 for runners and $20 for walkers Venmo, cash and check will be accepted for payment. We have ONLY few shirts left for race day sign ups first come, first serve. Race starts at 8:00 am central time. The race will go on no matter what the weather so dress accordingly.

-Packet pick-up, race day sign-ups and post-race snacks will be at the shelter near the parking lot of the park.

-We are doing old school timing for this race. If you registered as a runner after you finish you will receive a popsicle stick with a number on it. PLEASE turn that stick in ASAP to the shelter where the lovely and talented Morningsun take it from you. If you are overall male or female or top three in your age group you will receive a medal. There will be NO formal awards ceremony.

-Runners please place your bib on the front your shirts.

-All runners/walker will be starting at the same time. We will start across the street from the parking lot. We need walkers in back and runners in front. Please seated yourself based on pace.

-Water stop will be at the 1.5 mile mark and this is also your turning around point. You will follow the same route back to the finish. Route will be marked with flags and arrow signs at major turns.

-There are no bathrooms on the course please keep that in mind.

-Snacks, water and Gatorade will be available at the shelter after you finish.

-There will be old Crazy Legs Race Series shirts for sale, Pride flags, trucker hats for sale for $10 with all proceeds from these sales go to the NWI Pride Events.

Love Is Love 5k Run/Walk will be held at beautiful Bluhm County Park in Westville, IN. The 5k run/walk will be on the pavement bike trail across the street from the shelter located in the park.
