Our story…
We are a bit late to register this year, but The Six-Pack is back! This will be our sixth year participating in the Run4LH.
We are two trios that joined to make The Six-Pack. Each of the trios experienced the profound loss of a parent/spouse: Sean, Anna and Avery lost Tracy in May of 2015, and Melissa, Alex and Rachael lost Ellis in July of 2015.
Lighthouse was an essential part of the grief journey for all of us, and ended up being the inadvertent catalyst for our families to join together and become one.
We debated whether to go back to donors again this year (after raising over $10,000 last year alone), given the challenging time we are living in. However, Lighthouse is only run on donations - and we want to make sure it is able to provide its services for years to come.
