A virtual event for the entire month of March in celebration of National March for Meals month
In celebration of National March for Meals and the 55th Anniversary of Neighborly helping seniors in Pinellas, we invite you to join us for our inaugural MARCH-athon.
Programs from across the country have celebrated the month of March since 2002 to increase awareness for Meals on Wheels and recruit the support needed to meet rising demand. The Older Americans Act of 1965 established a national nutrition program for seniors.
For 55 years, Neighborly’s senior nutrition program has delivered more than just nutritious meals to seniors at risk of hunger and isolation all across Pinellas County; our staff and volunteers also made friendly visits and helped our seniors remain safe in their own homes, where they want to be. This year’s virtual march celebrates 55 years of serving seniors and enables us to be united even when we can’t all be at the start line together.
You can “MARCH” for Neighborly anywhere on earth!

Our virtual run gives you the flexibility to complete your walk, run, swim, bike, board, scoot, kayak, paddleboard, row, Segway or even hover - your way, on your schedule. Pick your distance and participate as an individual or team.
