Memphis Runs for Autism was created by volunteers in an effort to help raise funds for The ANGEL Program and touch the lives of children affected by autism.
Memphis Runs for Autism 5k is returning to a LIVE EVENT for 2021! We feel that our community will be ready for a live event by August 21st, but we are prepared to convert to a virtual event if needed. Please join us for the 2021 Memphis Runs for Autism 5k!
Too hot for ya? Not interested in running? That’s okay! Please consider making a donation to The ANGEL Program. The ANGEL Program Fund, Inc. is the fundraising arm of the The ANGEL Program. It is an IRS 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and all donations are tax deductible.
All proceeds from this event directly help to:
- Underwrite operating expenses such as salaries for teachers and therapists who care for these children
- Support technology upgrades
- Provide scholarships for families affected by autism
The race serves as a memorial to Cathy Pinter, a former Holy Rosary teaching assistant and passionate supporter of The ANGEL Program. Immediately after her passing, Cathy's family chose to honor her memory through volunteer work and fund raising for The ANGEL Program.
