Help Katrianna raise money

Neighbour to the infamous Mount Everest, and home to adventure seekers and outdoor enthusiasts, Nepal has undoubtedly suffered an immense amount since its earthquake in 2015.  

In my own ambition to travel to Nepal in 2022 to teach English and give back to the communities living in Kathmandu that lack proper education and support for its women, I recently came across the foundation 'Another Brick in Nepal'. Formed in the Fall of 2015, 'Another Brick in Nepal' addresses the devestation of schools and Nepalese families following April of 2015. 

As a current student myself, Nepal is emblematic to me of a place where outdoor exercise and female education has the ability to further thrive. Thus, in my own passion for long distance running, I aim to raise money towards this beautiful foundation. Moreover, I strive to support the children and families of Nepal, by giving it a bit of love through my love for running. 

Whilst supporting Nepal, I aim to achieve four goals: 

1. Race in the Victoria Royal Marathon October 10, 2021

2. Raise a min. $1000 towards 'Another Brick in Nepal'

3. Volunteer in Nepal for 2 weeks in 2022, connect with local communities, and work in female education. 

These goals will not only be a celebration of our combined efforts, but a celebration of running, and most of all, a celebration of a better world that we so ardently wish to give knoweldge, strength, and happiness.
