Project Purple has used running and fitness as its primary source of fundraising and raising awareness for pancreatic cancer research and supporting patients. 2020 challenged their efforts due to the cancellation of all events, including major marathons. In 2021, Project Purple is asking their community to continue to log miles for pancreatic cancer with their Pass the Torch relay.

The objective: Together, we will complete & log 60,430 miles by the end of 2021. This number signifies each individual that will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer this year.

Join me in moving with purpose and MAKE YOUR MILES MATTER for Project Purple and the entire pancreatic cancer community by joining my team and helping "Pass the Torch" because pancreatic cancer is NOT cancelled.

I know that my daily  movement has helped bring joy and hope to those battling pancreatic cancer and I'm looking for YOU to join me in moving with purpose and MAKE YOUR MILES MATTER for Project Purple and the entire pancreatic cancer community by joining my team and helping "Pass the Torch"

Some months I will run a contest for all those on the team to win fun prizes - participation is FREE but donations and fundraising is always welcome if you feel so inclined.
