2021 Virtual Banff Jasper Relay
June 4 - June 20, 2021
The Banff Jasper Relay is a 15 person relay race completing the 260km distance between Banff and Jasper. It is the most beautiful relay in the world, and is on a mission to end brain tumours by raising awareness and money for the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada. The Banff Jasper Relay has raised over $500,000 for the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada since 2005. This years race is virtual, and teams of 15 will run between June 4 to 20 at their place of choice (on a treadmill, at the park, or along your favourite running route).

If you are the first person from your team signing up, please CREATE a team (this will automatically make you the Team Captain)If your team is already setup, select the team from the drop down.

FASTEST TEAM WINS A SPOT IN THE ALBERTA SPORTS HALL OF FAME!
The fastest team will have their names engraved on the Banff Jasper Relay trophy! This trophy is being donated to the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame as a part of the new history of road running in Alberta display! The fastest team will also win 15 beers at next year’s end of race celebration in Jasper!
RAISE MONEY TO WIN A ONE NIGHT STAY AT THE LAKE LOUISE INN
The team that raises the most money for the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada wins a one night stay at the Lake Louise Inn on Friday June 3, 2022. June 3, 2022 is the night of the 2022 captains meeting which takes place at the Lake Louise Inn the evening before the race. Please note only one room is provided for the team. Every runner on the team will also win some amazing running gear from the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada.
The individual that raises the most money wins a one night stay at the Lake Louise Inn in addition to running gear from the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada.
FASTEST PACE PER TEAM
Each team will receive 1 Banff Jasper Relay “Fastest Pace” keychain made by Splash of Glitter Designs. This prize is to be awarded to the fastest pace on your team!
FIRST TEAM TO FINISH WINS BEER
The first Team to complete all 15 legs of the race win 15 beers at next year’s end of race celebration at the Jasper Community Centre! HINT: Remember your team can complete all legs concurrently!
