This holiday season we invite you to Spark Joy and Create Hope.

This event is near and dear to me. My granddaughters Make a Wish trip was such an awesome experience. She is ten this year and hoping/training to walk with me!

When she was diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer we were devastated.  She was such a trooper.  Years of treatment and then it happened!!!
SHE WAS CLEAR!!!!   Mommy and I (Bubbie) and Mia went on her Make A Wish trip.  We hadn’t seen her smile and giggle like that since before her diagnosis.

Please help support this wonderful, life changing charity.  I’ve seen it firsthand and it is like a miracle.

Many of you supported my walk last year and Mia is going to walk alongside this year.  Please show your support again this year.  I know it’s been a difficult year, and financially challenging,BUT, this is a gift like no other …. So please help give a kid a wish, for some it’s all they have to look forward to!

I'm raising funds to help grant life-changing wishes for Make-A-Wish Canada through my participation in the HoHoHoliday 5K 2021! 

The holidays are a time like no other, when we watch, and we remember the magic of what it is to be a child. This year especially, many of us will feel a sense of hope and joy we haven’t known for a very long time as we reconnect with family and friends to celebrate traditions together.  But for children with critical illnesses, a life of uncertainty remains.  Robbed of the simple joys of childhood, sadly hospital stays, doctor’s visits and painful treatments are their “normal”, even during the holiday season. 

This holiday season we invite you to Spark Joy and Create Hope.
