Run For 21

DO SOMETHING EXTRA - RUN FOR DOWN SYNDROME!

In honor of the third copy of the twenty-first chromosome, the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis invites you to run an in-person or virtual 5K (plus a little extra!) on June 13th to support the Down Syndrome Association. Run for 21 celebrates the amazing lives of people with Down syndrome. The race will coincide with the association's largest celebration of the year - Step Up for Down Syndrome. All proceeds will benefit the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis! The run will start and end in the Upper Muny Parking Lot in Forest Park by the Step Up for Down Syndrome celebration. There will also be a virtual 5K, 10K or 21 mile bike option as well.

Race amenities include a race shirt, finisher medal and entry into the Step Up for Down Syndrome celebration, plus results managed by Fleet Feet.

Participants must register by May 14th in order to guarantee they receive a shirt and all shirts will be available at the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis office on June 10th and June 11th. Virtual participants have the option to pay $7 to have your shirt mailed to you.

The race will officially take place on June 13th, but if you can't run with us on June 13th, you can submit your time between Friday, June 11th through Monday, June 14th, with results becoming official on Tuesday, June 15th. All participants will receive an email with instructions on how to submit their times on race week.

Awards

Finisher Medals for all participants.

Awards will be presented for the in-person 3.21 mile, to the top 3 overall male and females

and top 3 in the following male and female age groups:

12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.

Awards will be available for pickup at the DSAGSL office after the event, and all award winners will be contacted after results are final.
