This year the Corn Fest 5K will be VIRTUAL
How to Participate:
- Register for the Corn Fest 5K
- The last day to register online is Sunday September 19th, 2021.
Race Day Schedule:
- Youth Fun Run Ages 6-10 - 8:15 AM CANCELLED
- Youth Fun Run Ages 5 and Under - 8:30 AM CANCELLED
- Corn Fest 5K - Sept 25th - Oct 2nd -- VIRTUAL
Award Categories:
Since we are all running on different courses under different conditions, there will be no awards this year for overall time or age divisions.

Race Course: The 5K course is a 3.1 mile USATF IL-19006-WR certified course that starts on Dupont Avenue in front of Morris Grade School and winds through residential neighborhoods.
Packet pick up is available at Shabbona at Door 18
Tuesday September 21 from 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Thursday September 23 11 a- 1p
Packet pick up at Morris Elementary
September 25 8 am-9:30 am
Race Shirts:
Corn Fest 5K Shirts are unisex short sleeve running shirts available for the first 250 registered Corn Fest 5K participants. Shirts are only available in unisex adult sizes.
Because the Youth Fun Run has been cancelled there will be no shirts available.
How to Run Our Race Virtually
Follow these easy steps to prepare for your tracking:
 TRACKING STEPS 1. Download the ASICS Runkeeper™ app to your phone and create an account or scroll down to log into an existing account Once you have completed your 5k distance in the app, save your workout and it will automatically post to Race Roster results. (This step must be followed from your mobile device) |
 VIEWING AND POSTING MANUAL RESULTS If you plan to record using another software or tracking device or post manually from what is recorded on your watch, simply head here and "Submit Virtual Result" |
FAQS:
- To record with tracking on the ASICS Runkeeper™ app, you will need to run or walk with your phone or with a connected wearable (see instructions below)
- You do not have to track with these technologies, it is optional!
