My Story
Hello and thank you for supporting NARAL Pro Choice MN and this fundraiser for abortion access!
I am thrilled to raise funds for this important and impactful organization. I have volunteers as an abortion clinic escort* for two years and just joined the NARAL Board of Directors this January.
Abortions are health care, plain and simple. Everyone deserves the right to make choices about their bodies, and without abortion access, people are forced to give birth. Despite what anti-choice a$$holes want you to think, abortions can be lifesaving.
Thank you for contributing to this fundraiser. I'm very excited to run this 5K and support access to basic, simple, and NECESSARY! healthcare (abortions).
*Here is an incomplete list of absolute non-sense I've heard while clinic escorting from the anti-choice protestors:
- "You are female Hitler! Abortions are the leading cause of death in Minnesota"
- "Beware of Obama. He is the anti-Christ. He's like Hitler."
- "Don't take a vaccination. You'll have to trust in God to rely on everything. Those who end up in hell remember everything."

NARAL Pro-Choice Minnesota works for reproductive freedom every single day, whether it is at the Capitol blocking bans and pushing progressive legislation, at clinics escorting people to their appointments despite the cruel protestors, or on college campuses training the next generation of leaders.
