Help Anna raise money

Greetings family, friends, and colleagues!  

I hope you are well and enjoying our longer and brighter days.  Staying healthy and safe.

As many of you know, Wayne and I are members of the Rotary Club of Coquitlam.  

Our club is hosting a virtual walk/run challenge over the month of May to help raise funds for youth programs in the Tri-Cities. How it works:  commit to a walk/ run challenge during the month of May. There's 4 options/ distances to choose from: 5k, 30k, 90k or 150k.  Of course we (at Anna’s insistence) signed up for the 150k.

We would love to have you join us. We can do our walk together, with proper distancing and mask on. 

Those who sign up will receive a runner's package or 'swag bag' currently valued at $84 and increasing.  The swag bag so far includes: branded yellow Rotary sunglasses, water bottle, Mountain Sky lip balm, an enrollment to the Mental Health Boot Camp online program, a flight of beer at Mariner Brewery (for the adults), a Pirate Pack from White Spot (for the kids), biodegradable poop bags (for the dogs), and much, much more!  Participants are also encouraged to collect pledges for their physical feats (donations $20 and above will receive a tax receipt).   Head to www.rotaryrush.com to sign up!  The event is hosted on the Race Roster platform that handles registration, pledges, and progress tracking.

Participants who fundraise $150 will receive a Rotary Rush branded hat.  We also have a range of prizes that can be won for those who complete their challenges.
