My Story…
Getting involved and giving back to the community is essential to me. This year, I am excited to be participating in a 100 km Tour de Victoria Ride to raise funds for Opportunity International Canada. I will be riding 100 km with some painful steep hills throughout the route (1,400 m~ elevation gain). Tour de Victoria is going to be a challenging route for a new rider like me. But, as I always say, I would do it for the charity and Opportunity International Canada is one of the charities that I have chosen this year.
Opportunity International Canada provides microfinance to underdeveloped countries. Simply put, microfinance will provide the funding required to help people out of poverty and use their skill set to establish sustainable local businesses to create a stable economy for countries in need. A self-sustainable economic foundation is a vital recipe to access public education, medical facilities and gain a global market presence. For more information about Opportunity International Canada, please visit https://www.opportunityinternational.ca/ for details.
Your donation would make a significant contribution to countries in poverty. Any amount is very much appreciated and would mean the world to me. Many thanks for your time and to support of my campaign!
