My Story…
I'm a 14-year-old 8th grader from Evergreen, Colorado. I love all things mountain biking, especially riding my mountain bike fast and far!
This June, I'll be challenging myself by riding the Bailey Fundo Race, which is a 31-mile (50k) mountain bike race in the mountains of Colorado. This will be the longest and hardest race I've participated in. With 3,700 feet of elevation gain, all at over 7,000 feet of elevation - it is sure to be a leg and lung burner!
Not only will this race be a challenge for me, but it also benefits three great Colorado-based bicycle organizations. If you'd like to help me raise funds for these organizations, any donation amount is much appreciated.
Empowering at-risk and disadvantaged youth, using the bicycle as a tool to foster positive life skills, healthy youth development, and a sense of fun and adventure.
Colorado High School Cycling League
The purpose is to build strong minds, bodies, and character, guided by the principles of inclusivity and equality, one pedal stroke at a time.
Colorado Mountain Bike Association (COMBA)
This non-profit is focused on improving mountain bike trails in/around the Front Range of Colorado.
Many thanks to Team Evergreen for putting on the event, and thank you to all the event sponsors - BOA, Sock Guy, Safetti, Yeti Cycles, Elevation Cycles, DBC.
