Waiting at the Stinson Beach start line will be the only time you spend at sea level during this challenging trail run. From the word "Go" you'll be heading, up, up and away into the thick wooded trails of Muir Woods. You'll follow the legendary Dipsea trail to Steep Ravine, where you'll climb a wooden ladder, march up natural rock and wooden staircases and scramble under tree trunks. Along the way, enjoy the sounds of babbling brooks and waterfalls. Drink in the fresh smell of the towering redwoods and oaks that surround you. Your summit will be rewarded with panoramic vistas as you begin your descent back into Stinson Beach. The event is limited to 300 participants so don't wait too long to register!

Course Map & Elevation Profile
COURSE CUT-OFF TIME: 6.5 HOURS (~15:00min/mile pace for marathoners, ~30:00min/mile pace for half marathoners, ~55:00min/mile pace for 7 Milers). Hikers/Walkers are welcome to participate.
Additional Details
COURSE MARKINGS: The course will be marked with orange ribbon. The 7 Milers will turn at the first aid station. The half marathoners will continue to do a loop.
AID STATIONS: Aid Stations at miles 3.8, 7.5, 10.5. We highly recommend that you carry water.
INCENTIVES: T-Shirts for all participants. Rubber chicken to the first place overall male & female in each distance. Personalized award ribbons to the top three finishers, male and female, in each age group for all distances which will be mailed out a few weeks after the race. Two pairs of Merrell shoes raffled off to two lucky runners at the race.
BIB NUMBERS: Bib numbers will be mailed out to participants beginning two weeks before the event. If you do NOT receive a bib prior to race day, you will pick one up on race day morning. If you did not supply a valid mailing address when you registered, or if your mailing address has changed, please e-mail us at info@envirosports.com.
PARKING: is available at Stinson Beach Park.

CANCELLATIONS: Registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless you choose to protect your purchase with the optional “Purchase protection policy” offered at checkout. You can read the protection policy terms online here. Even if you choose to purchase it, you have 72 hours to cancel the policy if you decide you don’t want it. But you cannot purchase it AFTER you have completed your checkout. Otherwise if you email us by September 30 2021, you may receive a rollover credit (the amount you paid minus a $20 fee) to use toward any future Enviro-Sports race.
HEADPHONES POLICY: Since parts of this race include very narrow trails with steep drop-offs along the course, it is imperative that runners can hear each other in order to pass safely, even if they are running at a slow speed. For safety reasons (and for the enjoyment of your fellow runners) headphones (and any other audio devices) are NOT allowed.
