Help us raise money

During the past year and a half due to COVID-19 we have missed out on many of the everyday activities and moments that add enjoyment and fun in our lives.   We missed the companionship of friends.  

Now that we are at a point where we can safely get together, the Tour de Friends team has made its Gran Fondo Challenge to "have fun together". To achieve this goal, the Tour de Friends team plans to complete 3 grueling activities, all in the space of 1 day!

1. Biking to Southampton for an ice cream cone and biking back to Port Elgin, all in non-record time.   

2. Wading in the frigid, turbulent waters of Lake Huron all the way from the Flowers' Sunset cottage to the Port Elgin Harbour for beach fries, AND wading all the way back.

3. After a modest siesta to digest the fries, walking to the Wis for a libation. AND walking home home. Stopping for a round of Geritol if needed. Or Taxi home.

We hope you will support our goal to raise $8,000. for the Saugeen Memorial Hospital and that you are inspired to do something just for the fun and joy in it.
