Virtual Spring Run Off 2021

Since our virtual version of the Spring Run Off in Elbow last year went so well, we are going to do it again this year!

Kick up your heels and enjoy the beautiful Elbow Recreational Trail on the shore of beautiful Lake Diefenbaker! Or hit up any trails that happen to be near you - that's the beauty of a virtual run!

In a normal year, without the need for physical distancing, we would all be gathering at the starting line outside the Harbor Golf Club, hitting the scenic Elbow Trail which is set along a portion of The Great Trail (Trans Canada Trail) and crossing the finish line near the back patio overlooking the scenic marina for a burger and beverage. Our desire to bring this important event to the community in a safe way means that we've done away with the start and finish lines as well as the specific date. We still encourage you to come out with friends and family to enjoy our beautiful trail, but we've extended the timeline for the fun! Race packages (which include a beautiful hat, 2-for-1 golf passes and a voucher for a complimentary burger and beverage at the Club House, will be available for pick up at the Club House Pro Shop from May 1st, 2021 until September 30th, 2021. The vouchers contained in the prize package are valid for those same dates, so you can come enjoy a walk or run along the trail with a burger and berverage to finish it off any day within that time frame.

Elbow is just a short, 1 hour 10 min. drive from Saskatoon in an area rich with wildlife and natural beauty. Danielson Provincial Park, the Gardiner Dam and Douglas Provincial park are all nearby, or stick around Elbow for great dining, beautiful beaches and (of course) golf!

Proceeds from the run will go to the Elbow Recreational Trail.
