In celebration of Earth Day, the Department of Solid Waste Management would like to invite you to attend its 1st Earth Day Virtual 5k fun run or walk to benefit the United Way of Miami-Dade and to fight hunger in Miami-Dade County.
Join us for this unique opportunity to learn about the history of the Landfill, the Resources Recovery Facility, the Department of Solid Waste Management, its partners, and the United Way.
You will have the flexibility to complete your run or walk at your leisure from Thursday, April 22, 2021, to Saturday, May 8, 2021.
