Our story…
It is an honor for Team Aversa to join the Griffin Hospital for the 13th Annual 5K! We were grateful to participate last year, in spite of the pandemic, and we are fired up more than ever to unite again through charity and sport.
Our team mantra this year is to “Raise more, walk better, party harder”. All donations will benefit the Griffin Hospital Cancer Care Center in Derby, CT.
As always, Team Aversa walks and donates in memory of our family patriarch and our hero: Dr. John M. Aversa. Our father very much enjoyed participating with Team Aversa in 2018, and he hoped to see this event flourish year after year.
We invite you to join us in this year’s 5K. Whether you run, walk, donate or share, we appreciate any effort put forth in raising funds for the Cancer Care Center.
