Athletes from around Chicagoland gather in Beverly/Morgan Park every Memorial Day to compete in BAPA’s Ridge Run. The Ridge Run is planned for Saturday, September 4th.
The fall event offers the full complement of Ridge Run options – 5K run, 5K untimed walk, 10K run, 5K + 10K Challenge, and Youth Mile. Races start and finish at Ridge Park, 9625 S. Longwood Dr., Chicago, and a family festival in the park follows.
The Ridge Run is hosted by the Beverly Area Planning Association (BAPA) with Presenting Sponsor, OSF HealthCare Little Company of Mary Medical Center, Evergreen Park.

Race results will be based on B-tag start and B-tag finish times only. Timing provided by Lakeshore Athletic Services
Age Groups
5K RUN:
8 & UNDER, 9-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & OVER.
10K RUN:
14 & UNDER, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & OVER
YOUTH MILE FUN RUN (untimed): AGES 6-10.
AWARDS (based upon time of finish NOT order of finish)
The top three men and women in the 10K Run and the 5K Run will be recognized as winners.
The Youth Mile Fun Run and 5K Walk are not timed races. The top 3 boy and girl finishers will be recognized as winners. No awards for 5K walk.
