Help David raise money

It's been several years since I participated in the Against the Tide Swim to raise money for the prevention of breast cancer. The event benefits the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition, which is dedicated to preventing environmental causes of breast cancer through community education, research advocacy, and changes to public policy.

Perhaps my recent absence has been a relief to some! Without regrets, I am asking for your support, once again. This morning, August 11th, I pulled myself thru the waters of Walden Pond for someone other than myself. My mother, several cousins, and several friends have been victims of  breast cancer. They were in my thoughts as I've trained, and they were with me as I raced across Walden. 

As I've said in the past, and our trying times makes this more true now, everyone has causes they champion. Good for you if you support another cause, but please be thoughtful and generous to the causes you choose. Great if one happens to be an event to support ending breast cancer! As many of you know cures for Pancreatic Cancer is another cause I support.
