The ride then turns off onto La Posta Road where you will follow the river down stream through the Animas Valley. Ride a few miles off highway 550 on a dirt road until you reach the edge of the beautiful Kiffen Canyon. The road then drops to the bottom of the canyon you were overlooking and climbs up the other side to connect with the Big Apple Trail (an extension of the Road Apple Trail). This is where the single track portion of the ride begins, pedal and pump your way down into the Farmington Glade Trail System.
