Place: Race will start and finish at Ginty Field in Morris Township. Address for GPS is 49 Woodland Ave. Morristown.
Parking: Street parking on Woodland Ave., the municipal building at 50 Woodland Ave., Ginty Pool, Woodland School.
Route: A very scenic two loop course through Morris Township. There are a few rolling hills but it is a fast course with lots of crowd support.
Awards: Prizes will be given to top 3 overall runners and top 3 in each 5 year age group. Special prizes will also be given out for the best Halloween costumes!
Fluid Stations: Water stations will be located approximately every 1.5 miles along the course. Gatorade and Halloween candy will also be available at some of the stations.
Packet Pickup: Saturday, October 30th from 10:00am - 5:00pm at Jackrabbit of Morristown, 31 South St. Morristown. You CAN pickup packets for friends and family. Limited packet pickup will be available race morning at the start/finish area.
Time Limit: The course time limit is 3 hours.
Pacers: There will be pace group leaders wearing bright orange shirts leading pace groups for 1:35, 1:45, 2:00, 2:15, 2:30 and 2:45.
Virtual Run: If you would like to participate virtually, you should register for the in-person race. You will be able to run the 13.1 miles on the course of your choice and upload your results on October 30th and 31st. You can pick up your packet and medal at Jackrabbit on October 30th. Note: Only in-person runners will be eligible for awards.
Relay: There will be a 2-person relay. Each partner will run approximately 6.55 miles. Partner 1 will start with the rest of the half marathon runners. Partner 2 will wait for their partner in the Relay Zone in front of the Fire Department on Dwyer Lane. It is also at Ginty Field, near the start/finish area.
Post Run Party: Fuel up after your run with free bananas, water, Gatorade, soft pretzels from Philly Pretzel Factory and FRESH, HOT PIZZA from the Columbia Inn's food truck!
Race benefits JBWS - JBWS is a private, nonprofit agency that provides safety, support and solutions for abuse for anyone who lives or works in primarily Morris County, NJ and faces the issues of intimate partner abuse.

Not up to running 13.1 miles on your own? Team up with a buddy and split it! The first team mate will start with the rest of the half marathon runners and run about 6.55 miles before tagging the second team mate to complete the 13.1 miles.
