My Story…
My name is Cassidy Megan and I am the founder of Purple Day. I want to first thank you for taking the time to read my page and for all your continued support of the Epilepsy Association of the Maritimes (EAM).
EAM services all three Maritime provinces offering support, education, advocacy and so much for more those living with epilepsy, their families, friends and communities. They offer seizure 1st Aid training and epilepsy education to families, businesses, schools and community groups as well as one on one sessions.
EAM able to offer all of these services free of charge because of the support we get from people like you.
Living with epilepsy, I have experienced and seen 1st hand the challenges that come with epilepsy, the stigma, the discriminations and the toll it can take on our bodies and mental health. I have also experienced and seen 1st hand how important the work EAM does is.
Your support will help EAM continue to support the epilepsy community, provide education and create more awareness.

Epilepsy Association of the Maritimes (EAM) relies on the generosity of donors, corporate supporters and volunteers like you. has been providing services and support for 40 years for persons living with epilepsy, their families and communities. Our mission is to provide education and resources to support persons living with epilepsy, their families, their communities and we support ongoing research. We offer services including epilepsy awareness and seizure first aid education, resources, support, advocacy, service navigation, programming as well as scholarships and bursaries Your support helps us continue our important work and makes a difference in the lives of those living with epilepsy, their families and communities.
