Our story…

Hey there. My name is Melanie and 15 years ago I was diagnosed with MS. The MS Society has asked me to Captain the MS Race team for this years Bluenose Marathon. The irony this year is that I am unable to run. But I am going to walk the 10km this coming Bluenose weekend in November. Despite some health issues, this is how I celebrate my health and acknowledge my MS. I am thankful that I was a candidate for Lemtrada – which gave me the platform to get healthy and to live my life.    Without research dollars, these disease modifying drugs, such as Lemtrada would not exhaust. MS has taught me, to give back and to have hope.  Which is what you are all doing – giving back and giving me and thousands of others… hope for our future.
