Our story…
Doctors diagnosed Myles with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) at the age of 2 after a struggle with pain in his feet. Come to find out he has arthritis in many more joints. Despite the pain he was in most of the time, he was always happy and smiling through it.
Myles' brother, Riley, then started getting pain in his legs and after 2 years of pain was also diagnosed with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis at the age of 7. This was a struggle for Riley going from being able to run and be very active slowing down and having to take breaks from having pain. Injections can have a negative impact on kids and having supports at IWK to supply numbing cream will make a huge difference. Please help and donate to fund the parent support cupboard for children suffering from Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis. Any amount helps!
Thank You!
Melissa
