COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. THE PROMOTER
The Promoter is: Johnson & Johnson Limited (registered company number: 02175750) of 50 -100 Holmers Farm Way, High Wycombe, England, HP12 4EG.
2. THE COMPETITION
2.1 The title of the competition is Race Roster x Neutrogena 2021 competition. The competition is only open to residents in the United Kingdom excluding Northern Ireland, aged 18 years or over, except employees (and members of their immediate families/households) of the Promoter, its affiliated companies, their agencies and anyone professional connected with this competition. The Promoter may ask the winner to provide proof of age.
2.2 The competition is a prize draw.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The competition will run from 12:00AM GMT 15 November 2021 (the “Opening Date”) to 11:59PM GMT 15 December 2021 (the “Closing Date”) inclusive.
3.2 All competition entries must be received by the Promoter by no later than the Closing Date. All competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
3.3 Competition Entry
3.3.1 To enter the competition:
Enter online by creating an account on RaceRoster.com, signing up to the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Explore More 10k Challenge at https://raceroster.com/events/2021/47478/neutrogena-norwegian-formula-explore-more-10k-challenge (the “Event”).
To participate in the Event, each participant will be charged a £6.27 fee that will be split as follows:
- £5.00 to be donated directly by RaceRoster to Mental Health UK (Charity number: 1170815)
- £1.27 processing fee to be retained by RaceRoster for administration and holding of a virtual race
3.4 The Promoter will not accept responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition. All internet connection charges and any other expenses which may be incurred due to entering or winning the competition are the sole responsibility of the participant.
3.5 By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

3.7 The winners will be drawn using randomised software or under independent supervisions from valid entries and notified by email within 30 days of the Closing Date. If the winner cannot be contacted, or does not claim the prize, within 7 days of notification the winner’s claim will become invalid and the Promoter reserves the right at its absolute discretion to withdraw prize entitlement and award the prize to a substitute winner drawn at the same time as the original, to a maximum of 3 substitute winners, following which the Promoter reserves the right at its absolute discretion to withdraw the prize.
3.8 The first 10,000 entries will be eligible to receive 1 x NEUTROGENA® Norwegian Formula Moisturising Hand Cream Antibacterial 50 ml (“Hand Cream”). If an entrant has confirmed that they want to receive the Hand Cream and is one of the first 10,000 entries, the Hand Cream will be sent directly to the mailing address provided during registration for the Event. Promoter will not be responsible for re-sending the Hand Cream should the participant’s address change. Please allow 2 months from the Closing Date for delivery of the Hand Cream.
4. ELIGIBILITY
4.1 In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize you may win. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.
4.2 The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are: automatically generated by computer; completed by third parties or in bulk; illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with; photocopies and not originals; or incomplete.
4.3 There is a limit of one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. Multiple entries may cause you to be disqualified.
4.4 The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition and to verify all entries including but not limited to asking for address and identity details (which must be provided within 14 days). The Promoter may refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement, refuse further participation in the competition and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this competition’s entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the competition or won using fraudulent means.
4.5 Competition entries cannot be returned.
5. THE PRIZE
5.1 There are 10 prizes available to be won. Each prize will include:
- 1 x a pair of ASICS “Running” of “Trail Running” shoes available on asics.com/gb up to a value of £180, excluding MetaRide, MetaSpeed, HyperSpeed and MagicSpeed styles. Style, size and colour, subject to availability; and
- 1 x a gift basket of NEUTRAGENA® Norwegian Formula products (RRP of products: £35.82) including:

- X1 NEUTROGENA® Norwegian Formula Deep Moisture Body Mist 200ml (RRP: £6.99)
5.2 Prizes are subject to availability. There is no cash alternative for the prize.
5.3 The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control make it necessary to do so.
5.4 The prize is not negotiable or transferable.
- HOW TO CLAIM: You will receive an email informing you that you have won. In order to claim the prize, you must reply within 7 days of notification, stating you are accepting the prize and confirming which style, UK size and colour shoes you have chosen from the selection available on asics.com/gb and the correct postal address to be used.
5.6 Please allow 2 months from claiming the prize for delivery.
5.7 The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize or if incorrect shoe size is confirmed.
5.8 The prize will be delivered by post.
6. WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT
6.1 The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
6.2 The Promoter will contact the winner as soon as practicable after the Closing Date, using the contact details provided with the competition entry.
6.3 The Promoter will either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. The Promoter will send the surname and county of the winner to anyone who requests them within one month after the Closing Date of the competition by contacting Neutrogenapr@ogilvy.com. The Promoter will provide information and winning entry details to the ASA if challenged.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
8.1 The Promoter does not claim any rights of ownership in your competition entry.
8.2 Non J&J brand names are is a trademark of their its respective owner. The Promoter does not claim any rights in such trademarks and the competition is not associated with or endorsed or supported by any of such trademark owners.
9. DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY
9.1 If you are the winner of the competition, you agree that the Promoter may use your name, image and town or county of residence to announce the winner of this competition and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes.
9.2 You further agree to participate in any reasonable publicity required by the Promoter.
9.3 Information regarding personal data, which is provided by you when you submit an entry confirming that you want to enter the competition and/or receive a NEUTROGENA® Norwegian Formula Moisturising Hand Cream Antibacterial 50ml, will be processed in a database for the purpose of managing this competition and promotion only. Such information will not be used for any other purpose than as stated in these ‘Competition Terms and Conditions’ or as separately accepted by you. Your personal details will at all times be kept confidential and in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. Click here for the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. You can request access to your personal data, or have any inaccuracies rectified, by sending an email to crc@its.jnj.com. By participating in the competition, you agree to the use of your personal data as described here by the Promoter or its agents and suppliers. You can withdraw your consent at any time, but will no longer be able to participate. If you have separately agreed to opt in to receive communications from the Promoter or a third party then your personal data may be used by them for such purposes, including direct marketing.
9.4 Information regarding personal data, which is provided by you when you submit an entry to participate in the Event will be processed in a database for the purpose of managing the Event only. Such information will not be used for any other purpose than as stated in the ‘Race Agreement and Waiver’ or as separately accepted by you. 10. GENERAL
10.1 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
10.2 These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

RACE AGREEMENT AND WAIVER
1.1 As lawful consideration for being permitted to participate in the Event, you agree to all the terms and waiver (the “Agreement and Waiver”) set forth below. For the purposes of this Agreement and Waiver, “Race Parties” shall refer to Race Roster North America Corporation (“Race Roster”) and their parents, affiliates and subsidiaries, and all of the respective officers, directors, employees, and agents thereof, and Event sponsors, volunteers, contractors, subcontractors and their employees, representatives, agents and heirs.
You agree to abide by any decision of the Race Parties relative to any aspect of your participation in the Event, including the right of the Race Parties to deny or suspend your participation in the Event for any reason whatsoever. You attest that you have read all applicable rules of the Event including this Agreement and Waiver and the Terms of Service located at: https://raceroster.com/terms-and-conditions/ and agree to abide by them. You assume all risks to you associated with running in the Event, including but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants or pedestrians, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, traffic and the conditions of the road or trail, with all such risks being known or unknown and appreciated by you when out running on your own without any type of support from local officials or Race Parties.
1.2 You represent and warrant to the Race Parties that you have full legal authority to complete this Event registration on behalf of yourself and/or any party you are registering (the "Registered Parties"), including full authority to make use of the credit or debit card to which registration fees will be charged. For the avoidance of doubt, references to “you” or “your” apply to Registered Parties.
1.3 You are voluntarily participating in the event and understand that participation in the event is potentially hazardous, and that a registered party should not participate unless they are medically able and properly trained. You understand that events may be held over public roads and facilities open to the public during the event and upon which hazards are to be expected. Participation carries with it certain inherent risks that cannot be eliminated completely ranging from minor injuries to catastrophic injuries including death. You understand and agree that in consideration of being permitted to participate in the event, you and/or any registered party, the heirs, personal representatives or assigns of you and/or the registered party do hereby release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue the race parties for any and all liability from any and all claims arising from participation in the event by you or any registered party. You agree to assume your own medical expenses in the event of an accident or other injury resulting from or occuring due to your participation in the event. You fully understand you are forever giving up in advance any right to sue or make any claim against the race parties if you suffer such injuries and damages even though you do not know what or how extensive those injuries and damages might be and are voluntarily assuming the risk of such injuries and damage.
1.4 The race parties shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages (a) resulting from the event or your participation in the event; (b) for the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services; (c) for any goods or services purchased or obtained or transactions entered into with or through the race parties; or (d) resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, use, data or other intangible, even if the race parties have been advised of the possibility of such damages. You expressly agree that entering into the event is by your own free will and at your sole risk. You agree that you will not participate in the event unless you are healthy, medically able and properly trained. The race parties expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
1.5 You agree to indemnify and hold each of the Race Parties harmless from and against any and all damages, costs, claims or demands, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by you or any third party due to, arising from or relating to your participation in the Event or use of Race Roster or the violation by you of any term of this Agreement and Waiver as well as the Terms of Service located at: https://raceroster.com/terms-and-conditions/.
1.6 You further expressly agree that this Agreement and Waiver is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the law of the United Kingdom and that if any provision of this Agreement and Waiver shall be found to be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from this Agreement and Waiver and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
1.7 By indicating your acceptance of this agreement and waiver, you are affirming that you have read and understand this agreement and waiver and fully understand its terms. You understand that you are giving up substantial rights, including the right to sue. You acknowledge that you are signing the agreement and waiver freely and voluntarily and intend by your acceptance to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.
1.8 You acknowledge and agree that, after you complete the Event, the results, along with your name, gender, age, and region, at the discretion of Race Roster, be publicly available on Race Roster’s leaderboard.
