Join us for the 20th Annual Gumbo Flats Pumpkin Run

The Chesterfield Regional Chamber is proud to announce its 20th Annual Gumbo Flats Pumpkin Run. This popular event will take place on Saturday, October 23, 2021 and will begin at the Chesterfield Towne Center. Hundreds of community members join us each year for the annual Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce Gumbo Flats Pumpkin Run/Walk. The 5K and 10K are out and back courses. The Chamber also hosts a half-mile Children's Fun Run for ages 10 and under. Costumes are encouraged for kids and adults alike! Join the fun and out 19th annual run! Hundreds of community members join us each year for the annual CCOC Gumbo Flats Pumpkin Run/Walk. The 5K and 10K are out and back courses. The Chamber also hosts a half-mile kid's fun run for ages 10 and under. Costumes are encouraged for kids and adults alike! Registrants through September 15th will receive their shirt in requested size. All registrants after that are not guaranteed a shirt in their size.

The 5K and 10K races will serve as the 2021 "short" and "long" road racing championships for the Ozark Association of USA Track & Field. To enter the USATF "race within a race", simply identify yourself as a current USATF member when you register or email jake@fleetfeetstlouis.com after you register to let him know you are a member. You will be asked for your membership number when you pick up your race number.

  • 10K Course requires participants to maintain an 18 minute per mile pace, as the course closes 9:45am. 10K participants must reach mile 2.1 by 8:40am to continue on the 10K route in order to comply with the course closure times.

Virtual 5K Closed

Registrants will receive a long sleeve commemorative 2021 pumpkin run shirt, swag bag, and bib. Race times can be submitted online (deadline: Oct 25, 2021 end of day) and participants will be eligible for awards.

Awards Info

First, Second, and Third place awards will be given to the top runners in each age category/race as well as the overall for the 5k and 10k.
