Project Purple's vision is to solve this issue and have a world without pancreatic cancer. Our mission is to improve the lives of patients through support, hope, and compassion.
Join the Project Purple community, as we run, jog, or walk 2 miles to raise awareness and provide critical funding to advancing research for early detection through the PRECEDE Consortium.
Established in 2019, the PRECEDE Consortium is an international high risk screening program for family members who have a higher risk for pancreatic cancer because of a particular genetic mutation. There are 35 centers worldwide that make up the PRECEDE Consortium. One of the goals of the PRECEDE Consortium is to standardize early detection protocols and diagnostic testing for pancreatic cancer. Families who have been touched by pancreatic cancer are encouraged to get involved as we know up to 10% of cases worldwide occur from some sort of genetic mutation. This is a 100% virtual event that will take place over the weekend of June 26th & 27th. You can do it all at once or choose to do a mile a day over the two days.
