Help Kathy raise money

As many of you know, I've been involved in the past in raising funds for organizations in Haiti.  It's a cause that is very close to my heart.

Once again I'm asking for your help in supporting these hard-working, positive, resilient people.  Rayjon Share Care is based in Sarnia and has been working with the Haitian people since 1986.  I like this organization particularly because there is no middleman.  The money they raise goes directly from Rayjon to the people who need it.  Compared to most other organizations, very little is spent on administration.

You may think there's no point in supporting causes in Haiti because they keep getting knocked down.  I'd like to share a quote from a recent Rayjon publication:  "We believe that investment in Haiti matters.  We see so much progress despite huge challenges.  Long-term partnerships are the backbone of Rayjon's approach to community development.  Facing political instability, natural disasters and food insecurity, our Haitian partners will need our steadfast support and love through 2021."

If you are at all able to sponsor me in this fundraiser, it would be very much appreciated.  Of course if you can't, that's ok - I realize everyone has different causes they contribute to.  If anyone would like to join me in this very fun fundraiser and get sponsors of your own, that would be great too!  Just let me know and I'll get you all the info.  The date is Sept 25th, and all you have to do is walk 7 km (there's also a 5 km option) and drink some beer (or whatever your preference) afterwards!  What can be better than that?
