Summer Solstice Challenge 2021

Saturday, June 19th OR Sunday June 20th

Sunrise to Sunset.

15 hours and 34 minutes.

That’s all the time you have.

5:28 AM. to 9:02 PM.

• Choose Saturday or Sunday, whichever works for you. But only one day.

Challenge yourself to see how far you can go. It doesn’t have to be continuous: Eat/ Drink/ Nap. This is

not a race. There is no first prize, it’s a personal challenge. Maybe go further next year?

Bike or Run or Walk or Swim.

How far was your longest Bike? Run? Walk? Swim? Want to beat that? This is your chance.

This is about challenging yourself!

Must be done outdoors (except swimming, pool swims are fine)

Selected participants will get an Antlanticchip race belt or swim cap.

ALL PROCEEDS TO CROHNS AND COLITIS CANADA, GUTSY WALK HALIFAX 2021.

• Capped at 501 participants.
• Bibs are a print of a painting of Halifax sunrise.
• We will have a method to upload your results TBD.
• Kit pick up Thurs and Fri, June 10/11 Dartmouth, Sat and Sun, June 12/13 Halifax. TBD. Please try to make one of the pickups to save mailing costs. Packets will be mailed June 14/15.

• Bike lights are strongly recommended, especially at dawn and dusk. Runners and walkers should do the same.
• Swimmers, if you choose to do part of your swimming outside, you need a swim buddy.
• You are responsible for your own safety. Be careful. Eat and drink enough to keep yourself energised and awake.
