Weekend Walkathon and BBQ
Get Fit & Get Back Together!
May 28th-May 31st
Rotary of Sonoma Valley is hosting our first Annual Weekend Walkathon to benefit the Sonoma Valley Rotary Community Grant Fund, which we use to help local organizations and individuals fund projects they need that might be otherwise difficult to find money for. Register and join us in fulfilling our goal of restoring the Sonoma Valley community back to it's potential.
Walk a 5K (6,250 steps) through the town of Sonoma (or wherever you may be) to get rid of that "Covid 19" and reconnect with the community! Walk one day, or every day, or use this Step Conversion Chart to convert activities (like hiking, hopping, skipping or gardening!) into steps to reach your goal.
Reach out and get pledges from friends and family to support your efforts! Build your own team or go solo. Set a team goal. Get the community motivated!
Once you have burned all those calories, it will be time to consume a few! On Memorial Day we will be hosting a BBQ to get reconnected with one another face to face again (social distancing still required)! Join us at the Moose Lodge in Sonoma and celebrate our successes!
