Help us raise money

For participating in 2021 Flutie 5k for Autism

Our Story

The Autism Insurance Resource Center is proud to be a charity partner of the Flutie Foundation's 5K for Autism: Dougie's Epic Adventure.

Please join our team to walk or run and help raise funds for AIRC.

" Terri and AIRC helped me and my family a lot when my son got diagnosed with Autism. We didn't know anything about autism and ABA therapy. Without Terri and AIRC my family would have suffered a lot and that would have impacted my son's treatment. AIRC should live long enough to help many families who have autistic kids."

Your support helps us provide insurance-related resources and assistance, helping people with autism access critical treatments and services.

Description

Help our team reach our goal for the 2021 Flutie 5k for Autism: Dougie's Epic Adventure, to raise critical funds for the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism to help people and families affected by autism live life to the fullest!

Former NFL Quarterback, Doug Flutie, and his wife Laurie started the Doug Flutie, Jr. Flutie Foundation for Autism in 1998 after their son, Dougie, was diagnosed with autism at the age of three. Their personal experience of raising a son on the autism spectrum inspired them to help others on an equally long and challenging journey. Over its 23-year history, the Flutie Foundation has distributed over $15 million to partner schools and organizations who provide clinical therapies, respite services, recreational programs, social skills training, job supports and more for people and families affected by autism. The Flutie Foundation also provides direct financial support to families through initiatives like education technology tools, adaptive camp scholarships, safety equipment, to provide immediate help where it's needed the most.
