MINOCQUA NORTHWOODS ESCAPE MARATHON, HALF MARATHON AND 5K

The course was tested last year and participants had rave reviews but noted it was a challenging course.  The course is a loop course beginning and ending at the Minocqua Park Complex on Hwy 70 West in Minocqua.   A portion of the marathon will include the Bearskin Trail but the majority of the mileage will be logged on county roads in Oneida County.  The course is certified for the Boston Marathon (WI20009DM) by an authorized Boston Marathon certifying agency.  The race will start in waves spaced with 30 second separation between wave releases.  The waves are determined by your estimated finish time with the fastest runners going out first.

Blue Raven's beneficiary partner this year will be the Minocqua Island Business Association.  The Minocqua Island Business Association is a non profit organization promoting dine, shop, stay and play on the beautiful Island of Minocqua. Showcasing the Minocqua Island as a premier year round tourist destination while giving locals fun and engaging activities and events. MIBA is proud to give 50% of all profits to 2 local charities.  25% to the local Food pantry and 25% to Gracie's Place, a children's therapy and family resource center.

ON PACE RACE will again be on the course to set the pace for your skill and ability level.  Look for their banner at the start of the Marathon and Half Marathon.   

Online Registration Marathon and Half Marathon $75*; 5K $30 – Through Thursday, May 27, 2021;

RELAY TEAM EVENT:  Relay Teams of up to 5 members - $160.
*plus 10% service charge for online registration.  Special rate for Marathon Relay 2 member teams ($120.00)

Race Day Rates:  Individual Full and Half Marathon $90; 3-5 member relay teams $180; and 2 member relay teams $135.

There will be 4 transition points available on the course for transitions. The Relay Team must determine where they wish to transition depending upon the number of team members.

Online registration at blueravenproductions.com closes at 11:59 PM on Thursday, May 27.  Only those that register online are guaranteed a shirt.

Register and packet pickup in person until Saturday, May 29 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm and Sunday, May 30, from 5:00 am to 7:00 am at the Minocqua Park Complex on Hwy 70 West.

Included in Registration:
No Busing necessary this year as the course starts and ends at the same location.

There will be 8 Aid Stations on the course plus the Finish.  The course aid stations will have water.  Gatorade will be at mile 5, 7, 12, 17, 22, and 24.   The finish line will have snacks, water, Gatorade, and beer.
