On Sunday May 23rd a 5k will be taking place in support of Leukemia Survivor and Women of the Year Candidate Bridget Anderson. Join Team "Bad Blood" for a live or virtual 5k run supporting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! LLS is dedicated to the fundraising and conducting of research for Leukemia, Lymphoma, Hodgkin’s Disease, and Myeloma. It is their mission to support, educate, and advocate for patients and their families who have been afflicted by said conditions. Therefore, it is our hope that though this Live and virtual 5k we can not only bring awareness to these diseases, but also support LLS and their mission.
For those running in our live 5K event be ready for a beautiful course through Nomehegan park and the surrounding Kenilworth and Cranford community.
For those doing the virtual 5k fun event, feel free to run/walk the five kilometers anywhere you'd like and with whomever you'd like and give honor to someone you may know that is coping with this disease. This an opportunity to get outside, have some fun, and support a good cause. ALL DONATIONS WILL GO DIRECTLY TO THE LEUKEMIA AND LYMPHOMA SOCIETY.
Awards will go to the top overall 3 male and female winners. In addition, there will be age group winner awards for the top runners in the following age groups Under 14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
