Event Time Schedule:

6:00 pm - Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup opens

7:00 pm - Ainsley's Angels Chariots Division, 7:02 pm - Runner Division, 7:03 pm - Walker Division

( please make note of multiple division starting times )

8:15 pm - Award presentations

9:00 pm - Event ending time ( refreshments shut down ) * It's a bar and grille, we need to set a deadline !!

Parking: In parking lots and off street in general race event site area. Note that parking meters and numerous parking lots do not charge fees for parking on Saturday evening. Read signage or labels posted when parking

Entry fees:

$25.00 pre-registered by June 30th , $30.00 thru July 11th, $35.00 day of race

$20.00 Youth or Senior by June 30th, $25.00 day of race

ON-LINE Registration closes July 11th at midnight

Race Day Registration payable via Credit / Debit Card, Check, Cash ( no bills over $20.00 please )

Registration in person available during pre-race day packet and on day of race at race site

$30.00 Virtual Event Registration ( * fee includes cost for mailout of packet )

Packet mailed few days after each event race date. ( virtual registration only )

Packet Pickup: Pre-Race day dates , times and locations ( RIverShack Gretna Run/Walk only )

West Jefferson Fitness Center - Terrytown, Thursday, July 15th ( 4:00 pm-6:00 pm )

or Day of race at race site opening at 6:00 pm

Chip timed event, please wear bib number on front only , visible. When picking up bib, cross check to make sure that name label on back is your name. If picking up bibs for others please make sure to distribute to correct person by name of label on back.

Refreshments: Food courtesy of RiverShack Tavern, Kentwood Springs Water, Michelob Ultra and Bud Light Selzter, Gatorade, Fruit, Elmer's Chee Wees, Baker Maid Products.

The RiverShack Gretna Run/Walk and the RiverShack River Run Series is owned and produced by New Orleans Running Systems, Inc.

Awards:

Custom finisher medallions given out at each series 2 Mile Run/Walk ( SEE Design below )

NOTE: Custom finisher medallions ( MADE IN USA ) presented to the first 200 entrants that finish the 2 mile race.

All entrants registered after the first 200 will receive a local made type medallion if applicable

Important to note that custom die-cast / sublimation printed medallion ribbons have to be ordered 6 weeks in advance

Overall and age group divisions: 1st overall male and female

1st Overall awards male and Female ( Gift Card ) courtesy of Fleet Feet - Metairie

Overall and each age group awards - Rockin Robins Cajun Pepper Jelly ( locally made )

Age Group divisions 1st and 2nd place ages: 14-under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-over

Race Walkers: 1st, 2nd, 3rd overall male and female

Course is on the paved asphalt Mississippi River levee jogging pathway.. Enjoy a panoramic view of downtown New Orleans skyline .
