Help Nadia raise money

Hello friends, 

Do you happen to enjoy doggos or do you tend to prefer the young puppers? Well, you're in luck, do I have something for you...

Do some of you fancy felines... prefer the category of catos? Hot darn, have I got something for YOU AS WELL...

A friend and I are participating in hart's (Humane Animal Rescue Team's) Sneakers & Strays event, a QuaRUNtine virtual run/ walk, to raise funds for the rescue's ongoing operational costs. We're haven't set a target distance, but we're aiming to complete more than 20 kms each over the 4 day event.

As you can imagine traditional fundraising initiatives, such as in-person events, came to a grinding halt with the pandemic and have been nearly impossible to plan - and execute - considering the ongoing RISE and fall of covid cases. With that, many rescues haven't been able to achieve their fundraising targets resulting in fewer puppers and catos being rescued! 

Many of you are aware that my own very own fur-baby, dog park fun-police,  magpie monitor, and hell-hound, Nitani, is a rescue as are many of her doggie buddies. I rescued my favorite little weirdo more than 5 years ago and while it's been quite an adventure, I wouldn't change it for the world!

What other way to raise funds for a good cause than to strap on our Easy Spirit walking shoes, don our tummy slimming compression tights, leash up the unruly hounds (who themselves are rescues), and embark on a thigh and calf burning, whinging and whining, walking adventure! *

With that I'm hoping you may feel compelled 

*Just kidding... we only look somewhat hipper and cooler than that!
