Raise money for Buddhist Education Foundation of Canada
Since 2001, the Buddhist education foundation has advocated, fundraised and donated to support courses, Fellowship and Professorship related to Buddhism and mental health at the University of Toronto. Recently, we donated $134,000 toward a $1,500,000 endowment that established the Shi Wu De Professorship in Chinese Buddhist Studies at Emmanuel College. This endowment enabled the creation of a Buddhist track in the Master Pastoral Studies (MPS) program in 2015, the first Buddhist program that educates professionals in spiritual care in Canada. $1,234,000 has been raised. Please help us make additional contributions toward this endowment that is already benefiting our community.
