Raise money for Carefirst Foundation
Carefirst Foundation is committed to fundraise for Carefirst Seniors & Community Services and other organizations with similar objectives; to provide stable and quality community services to those in need. ‘You Make Caring Possible’ – your contributions will support Carefirst on the development of Carefirst Campus of Care in Richmond Hill. The Campus of Care will consist of a 120-bed long-term care home; a community hub with an elderly persons centre; a gym; a community kitchen; and a family plus specialist-practice medical centre that will serve more than 10,000 patients each year. This Centre of tomorrow combines community support and health care services under one roof for the easy access to service users.
Proceeds raised from the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon virtual race will support Carefirst Seniors’ Capital Project – the Carefirst Campus of Care. This proposed state-of-the-art multi-disciplinary centre, located at 9893 Lesile Street in Richmond Hill, combines a 120-bed long-term care home with a community hub that offers integrated social, health-care and supportive services. Our project will enhance access to a wide range of services for local residents and tackle the shortage of long-term care beds in York Region and adjacent areas.
Your donation will help:
- Seniors – To promote and expand our services, including long-term care, medical-care, home care, transportation, Chronic Disease Management and Wellness Programs, etc.
- Diverse communities – To provide culturally appropriate social and health services in various languages.
- Immigrants/New residents - To support their integration into Canadian society and foster growth in their local communities by facilitating social, recreational, information and referral services.
- Youth – To promote social awareness among youth and engage learning and volunteering opportunities.
