My Story…
I'm so excited to walk again this year to raise money for the ABLE Network.
Over the past year, ABLE Network has enabled me to stay connected with my program and to socialize online with my friends which has helped me cope with the Covid 19 restrictions.
We meet up on zoom everyday - exercising in the mornings, having a virtual lunch together and a variety of educational & life skills in the afternoon. Once a month, we also hang out online for a movie night!
On Sunday, October 17, I will be walking a 5KM route in Aurora with my friends from ABLE. We will practice social distancing and wear our masks. I am really looking forward to seeing everyone!
2021 has been a challenging year for ABLE because we can't do all the things we used to do in the community. Looking ahead, we need your support more than ever so that when the world opens up to us again, we are ready!

The ABLE Network is a fee for service, registered charity located in York Region. We are a community based program that provides relevant inclusive work and recreation opportunities for adults with Intellectual Disabilities in natural job and community settings.
