Hi!
I'm happily participating in this event to raise funds for Dekpor School Development Organization. Why do I like this charity? It supports Dekpor Basic School's students, teachers and community through providing a food program; sponsoring individual students and educators; improving water, sanitation and health resources; funding building and maintenance of school structures; providing educational supplies and materials; and supporting other projects that benefit Dekpor residents.
DSDO is run by volunteers, their admin fees are minimal (0.75%), and they show me HOW the funds are used in rural Ghana. DSDO gets 100% of the funds donated, meaning Scotiabank picks up the tab for the online payments.

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Dekpor School Development Organisation = hard-working volunteers improving: education, sanitation, clean water, nutrition, health, sponsorships, business start-ups, and crop diversity in rural Ghana.
Funds raised at this event are what allow us to run our food programme. Breakfast and lunch are served to 150 students at school, but, gee, we'd love to add even more of the 1000 students to the list of recipients!
You, too, can be part of something wonderful and SEE your fundraising efforts actually MAKE a DIFFERENCE! Give generously. Every single dollar truly helps!
Just to give you an idea of your impact:
$50 feeds a child for 4 months
$165 gives breakfast and lunch every school day + health care + summer school fees paid for 1 child for a year!
