My Story…
Once again I am happy to be walking and raising funds for a wonderful organization that is supporting elders and aging as an important third phase of life. The residents and staff are truly amazing and I am grateful to be part of Hesperus Village.
My Mom spent the last few years of her life at Hesperus. It was so like her to start a welcome committee to help people feel welcome when they moved in. The photo is the last photo of us together taken 4 days after her first heart attack and 12 days before she died. Miss her.

Description
A rich cultural life, in its varied forms, enhances the health and lives of our residents. Social isolation is unfortunately very common for seniors. Together with our residents, we co-create an enlivened and rich social and cultural life to combat the isolation that some encounter due to physical or emotional challenges or even financial constraints. Your donation will fund the costs associated with organizing a series of social and cultural activities throughout the year.
