My Story…
Hello, on October 17, 2021 I will be participating in the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront 10K Run while raising funds for Matthew House. Matthew House provides housing and other vital services to Refugees upon their arrival in Toronto. With the assistance of Matthew House many of these Refugees go on to develop meaningful careers and lives in Canada.
Please consider supporting the great work done by this organization. 100% of all funds raised go directly to Matthew House. All donations in the amount of $20.00 or greater will receive an official tax receipt.

Description
Matthew House is a community of homes that welcome, shelter and assist newly arrived refugee claimants in Toronto. Our desire is to restore refugee's dignity and hope by providing emotional and physical support in a homelike setting to help them heal from their journey and establish new lives in Canada. When we run for Matthew House, we send a message that says "my Toronto is your Toronto" for vulnerable newcomers like refugees. Join our team and help transform the lives of newly-arrived refugees.
