My Story…

Ten years ago, my Grandfather passed away from Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma at the age of 70. As the most active man I’ve known, I’ll continue to honour him in a way that I know would make him proud - by running. When I ran track, he was my number one fan. Every day, I was his.

Lymphoma left a grandpa-sized hole in my life - as it does to the loved ones of approximately 2,900 other Canadians each year. I run for them.

Description

Did you know:

That an estimated 128,000 people are affected by blood cancers in Canada?
That someone is diagnosed every 23 minutes?
And that every 72 minutes someone will die?

I want to do my part to help change these statistics.

Unfortunately, too many of us have had cancer touch our lives and we all want to know how we can help loved ones who are battling cancer. We’re not all doctors or researchers, but we can all do our part to help.
