My Story…
Hi my name is Elisseos Kyrillou. I am from Cyprus and have lived in Canada for the last 6 years. This year I am running in the Scotiabank Marathon to raise funds in support of the Greek Community of Toronto.
I passionately believe we all should be “running” to support the continuation of the GCT so that all people of Greek descent have a place they are proud of that showcases our ethnic background and continues to promote our language, heritage and values as Greeks.
We are warriors in our philosophies, democracy, words, bodies and spirits. We can and will thrive as long as we come together.

Objectives and Vision
o Preserve and integrate Hellenism in Canadian society.
o Nurture and promote Hellenic civilization, culture and traditions
o Teach and preserve the Greek language
o Represent the Greek community at large in the greater Toronto area
o Offer charitable assistance to all those in need
o Generate the necessary funds to support all activities of the organization
